About UDAN
The Uganda Diaspora in Agribusiness Network (UDAN) is a global member-based initiative that brings together Ugandan agripreneurs and investors living abroad to contribute to the growth of the country’s agrifood sector. Established in 2022 with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and officially registered in Uganda, UDAN facilitates and maximizes both financial and non-financial contributions from the diaspora to boost employment opportunities in the agrifood sector, with a strong focus on youth empowerment by serving as a bridge between the diaspora and local migration and rural stakeholders.
